Funeral announcements for 2/17/23

A funeral service will be held for Janice Augustin (Thoe), age 86 of Austin at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin on Saturday, February 18th at 10:30 a.m., with visitation at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens.  

Funeral services for Helen V. Hyland, age 94 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25th at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin.  Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Saturday morning prior to the service at the church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mercedes Ruth Drees, age 11 of Adams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 18th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams.  There will be a 3:45 p.m. parish Rosary at the Adams Funeral Home on Friday, February 17th, with visitation following from 4:00-7:00 p.m., and will continue on Saturday morning at the Adams Funeral Home from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

A funeral service will be held for Evelyn G. Trom, age 88 of Blooming Prairie at 1st Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20th.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 19th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Worlein Funeral Home in Blooming Prairie, and for one hour prior to the service Monday afternoon.  Interment will take place at 1st Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Blooming Prairie.  

A private graveside service will be held for John Harlow Whiting, age 94 of Blooming Prairie in April of 2023, at First Lutheran Cemetery in rural Blooming Prairie.  Military honors will follow the service at the Servicemen’s Club in Blooming Prairie.  

Charles Allan Crosby, age 78 of Austin passed away on Monday, January 30th at Mayo Clinic/St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.  No services are being planned at this time.
