Funeral announcements for 2/15/24

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Walter “Wally” Meyer, age 80 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 16th at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Austin. Visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15th at the Mayer-Hoff Funeral Home of Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the service on Friday morning.  A reception will follow the mass at the Eagles Club of Austin, with interment at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston at a later date.

A Funeral service for Rosemary Hommerding, age 78 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 16th at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday morning.  Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.  

A memorial service will be held for Bruce Allen Mlenar, age 76 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service Saturday morning.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for David W. Stahl, age 74 of Austin from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23rd at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Interment will be held at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston later this spring.
