Funeral announcements for 1/6/23

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Norma Ray Kiefer, age 95 of Taopi at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 7th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams.  Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Adams.  Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, and will continue on Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

A Memorial Mass for Delores M. Tschann, age 84 of Austin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the mass at the church on Saturday.  Interment will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery in Myrtle, Minnesota at a later date.  

A funeral service will be held for Wayne David Benson, age 54 of Blooming Prairie at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7th at the Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home in Blooming Prairie.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service on Saturday, and interment will be in the St. Columbanus Catholic Church Cemetery in Blooming Prairie.  

A prayer service and celebration of the life of Eldean Milan Erickson, age 81 of Austin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8th at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service where family and friends may call.  Interment of ashes will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Austin.  

Interment will be held for Gregory M. Howden, age 66 of Austin at Grandview Cemetery in Austin at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 9th.  Greg passed away on Saturday, December 24th at New Richland Care Center in New Richland, MN. 

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date for Donald “Don” Richard Fox, age 86 of Austin at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place at a later date,and interment will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Rochester.  In honor of Don’s love for the color red and the Austin Packers, his family invites you to wear red to his services.
