Funeral announcements for 1/4/24

 A memorial service will be held for Mary Elizabeth Moline, age 69 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5th at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin,and visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

 

A memorial service will be held for John Charles Corcoran Jr., age 84 of Austin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.  

 

A funeral service will be held for Larry Thomas Butenhoff, age 87 of Austin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6th at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service, with private family interment to take place at Alden Cemetery in Alden.

 

A memorial service will be held for Lory Anne (Leibold) Shaw, age 63 of Blooming Prairie at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6th at 1st Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Blooming Prairie City Cemetery at a later date.  

 

A Celebration of Life will be held for Janelle “Nellie” Wollenburg, age 37 of Austin from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  A short service and rosary will begin the celebration of life at 12:00 p.m. that afternoon.

 

A memorial service will be held for Robert “Bobby” Loren Klaehn, age 71 of Austin on Sunday, January 7th at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Elkton.  The visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.  A group celebratory helium balloon release will be held following the service.  

 

A Celebration of Life will be held for Luverne “Verne” Darcy Maier, age 65 of Sargeant from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.  

 

A funeral service will be held for Vern “Buck” Allen Larson, age 74 of Austin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin.  Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.  Interment will take place at Woodbury Cemetery in Lyle.

 

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Maynard Anthony Wolfe, age 87 of Austin will be celebrated at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin on Tuesday, January 9th at 11:00 a.m.  Friends may call for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post #91 and VFW Post 1216.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Austin, following the luncheon.  

 

A memorial service will be held for Susan Ann Ruzek, age 76 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10th at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday morning.  Private family interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

 

A memorial service will be held for Thomas Luke Mallan, age 59 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13th at Crane Community Chapel in Austin after the reception.  

 

A private family graveside service will be held for Darlene F. Conner, age 91 of Austin at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.
