Funeral announcements for 1/29/20

Funeral services for Irene Ella Thompson, age 105 of St. Ansgar, Iowa will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30th at Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church of rural Austin. Visitation will take place for one hour before the service at the church on Thursday morning. Interment will be in the Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery.

A memorial service for William “Bill” Joseph Grover, age 76 of Adams will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30th at Crane Community Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Dennis D. Best, age 75 of Taopi at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 31st at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams.  Interment with military honors by Adams American Legion Post #146 will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday morning at the church from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

A Celebration of Life service for Cindy Lynn Walsh, age 47 of Austin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1st at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will begin at noon and friends may share their memories and stories beginning at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow.

A gathering of family and friends for Rachel Ann Hudson, age 80 of Lyle will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1st at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  A celebration of life will take place later in June of 2020 to coincide with the 150th Anniversary Celebration of Lyle.
