Two people injured in one-vehicle, rollover-type accident on Interstate 35 in Freeborn County Saturday evening
Two people were injured in a one-vehicle, rollover-type accident on Interstate 35 in Freeborn County late Saturday evening.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee being driven by 23-year old Erhumwerese Clara Amadasun of Bloomington was traveling northbound on Interstate 35 at approximately 10:53 p.m. Saturday evening when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled at milepost 14 in Bancroft Township.
Amadasun and a passenger in her vehicle, 16-year old Eghe Beautiful Amadsun of Bloomington both sustained non-life threatening injuries in the accident, and both were transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Albert Lea for treatment. The State Patrol indicated that both parties involved in the accident were wearing their seatbelts, and the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, the Clarks Grove Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance all assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene late Saturday evening.
