Iowa man injured in one-vehicle rollover-type accident on I-90 in Freeborn County Friday morning

An Iowa man was injured in a one-vehicle, rollover-type accident on I-90 in Freeborn County Friday morning.  

The accident occurred at approximately 9:44 a.m. Friday morning on eastbound Interstate 90.  The Minnesota State Patrol reported that 50-year old Timothy Matthew Potterfield of Bondurant, IA, went off the road and rolled his vehicle near mile marker 173.

Potterfield suffered non-life threatening injuries, and he was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin for treatment.  The State Patrol reported that Potterfield was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

The Mower and Freeborn County Sheriff’s Offices assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene Friday morning.
