Mayo Clinic presents plan to retain nurses in Austin and Albert Lea

Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin and Albert Lea announced a plan this week to retain staff while opening up more than 100 positions for Department of Nursing personnel.  Over the next 24 months, inpatient surgery, inpatient hospitalization (medical/surgical/pediatric) and childbirth will be consolidated on the Austin campus. Staff for U.S. Senator Tina Smith coming to Austin

On Wednesday, April 25, U.S. Sen. Tina Smith’s (D-Minn.) staff will be in Austin to meet with regional farm, business, education, and economic development leaders to discuss Minnesota’s priorities in the five-year Farm Bill that will be debated in the Senate in the coming weeks.
