Austin man sentenced to prison time on felony predatory offender failing to fulfill registration requirement charge in Mower County District Court
An Austin man facing a felony predatory offender failing to fulfill registration requirement charge in Mower County District Court stemming from an incident that occurred in Austin on October 25th, 2021 has been sentenced to prison time, plus fines and fees.
41-year old James Paul Hutchinson was convicted and sentenced Thursday to 31 months in prison, plus $3,716 in fines and fees for a felony charge of predatory offender knowingly commits act or fails to fulfill a registration requirement. Hutchinson pleaded guilty to the charge on December 20th, 2023, and a felony charge for threats of violence, plus a gross misdemeanor charge for domestic assault stemming from an incident that occurred in Austin on July 28th, 2021, and an additional felony charge of predatory offender knowingly commits act or fails to fulfill a registration requirement stemming from an incident that occurred in Austin on November 11th, 2022 against Hutchinson were all dismissed with his guilty plea.
