Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to the first KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week for the 2023-2024 prep sports season, Macy Lembke of the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms volleyball team!

Lembke, a senior setter for the Blossoms put up 26 set assists in a five-set match against Tri-City United Tuesday evening to go over 1,000 for her career.  Lembke needed 14 assists going into the match to reach 1,000, and she also tallied 13 digs, one kill and three ace blocks for good measure in the match.  Lembke, a three-sport athlete at Blooming Prairie will be one of the leaders for this year’s squad, who will open the home portion of their schedule next Tuesday with a non-conference match with Goodhue out of the Hiawatha Valley League.
