Funeral announcements for 4/3/24

A Celebration of Life is scheduled to be held for Dean Rossiter Heiny, age 76 of New London, and formerly of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5th at the Worlien-Hoff Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Lunch will follow at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Austin, and visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4th at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Friday morning.  Private interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin later this spring.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held for James “Jim” Edward Retterath, age 82 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the mass Friday morning, with interment at Calvary Cemetery in Austin.  A luncheon will follow at the Eagles Club in Austin.

A Celebration of Life and Reception for Julie M. Guckeen, age 63, formerly of Austin will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5th the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  

A Celebration of Life for Geraldine “Gerry” J. Oswald, age 95 of Blooming Prairie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9th at 1st Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service, with burial at Union Cemetery of rural Blooming Prairie.

A private family service will be held to celebrate the life of Joseph “Joey” E. Houff, age 62 of Austin, who passed away at his residence on Saturday, March 30th after a brief illness.
