Funeral announcements for 10/18/23

A funeral service will be held for Jerry Dean Read, age 77 of Austin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service on Friday afternoon, with interment at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.  

Visitation for Laura Lee (Merrill) Doty, age 61 of Riceville, Iowa will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20th at the Hindt Funeral Home in LeRoy.  Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21st at Lynwood Cemetery in Clarksville, Iowa.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Lorraine M. Horvat, age 97 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21st at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church Saturday morning, with interment at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Wells, MN.  

A funeral service will be held for Robert “Bob” Edward Belden, age 83 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21st at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service Saturday morning, with interment at Calvary Cemetery in Austin.  

A Celebration of Life for Michael J. Cahill, age 72 of Austin will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21st at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Austin.

A Celebration of Life will be held for John Alan Stearns, age 71 of Austin from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 21st at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin.  Friends and family are invited to attend. Interment with military honors to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.
