Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms volleyball falls to Randolph 3-0 Tuesday evening

The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms volleyball team was looking to get back on the winning track in their Homecoming week match with the Randolph Rockets Tuesday evening, but it was the visiting Rockets sweeping the Gopher Conference matchup 25-18, 25-19 and 25-16.

Macy Lembke led the Blossoms in set assists Tuesday evening with 12, plus she also chipped in two kills, six digs and an ace serve, Addison Doocy led BP in kills Tuesday night with seven, plus she also tied for the team lead in blocks with five, and she also added two digs, Annaka Forsberg registered five kills, two digs and five blocks, Elizabeth Miner tallied one kill, one dig and three blocks, Sam Hefling added one kill, eight digs, one block and an ace serve, Layla Lembke chipped in one kill and nine digs defensively, Claire Schwarz put up a stat line of one kill, five set assists, eight digs, three blocks and a team-high two ace serves, Ella Smith led the Blossoms in digs Tuesday night with 11, and Madelyn Harvey tallied three digs and one ace serve.

With the loss, Blooming Prairie is now 0-6 in the Gopher Conference and 4-15 overall.  The Blossoms return to action Thursday night in Dodge Center versus Triton, with the varsity match scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m.
