A Wisconsin woman was injured Sunday morning in a one-vehicle accident on westbound I-90 in Racine Township of Mower County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2002 Toyota Camry being driven by 60-year old Charles Albert of LaCrosse, Wisconsin was westbound on I-90 when he left the roadway to the right near milepost 204, struck a tree and then a power pole.  A passenger in Albert’s vehicle, 50-year old Pauline Albert of LaCrosse, Wisconsin was transported to Mayo Clinic/St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life threatening injuries. Charlest Albert and another passenger in his vehicle, 16-year old Chioma Albert of LaCrosse, Wisconsin were uninjured.

The State Patrol went on to report that all parties involved were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident, and that road conditions were dry.
