Wescott Sports Complex to host Hall of Fame All-Start Canton Classic Football Tournament this weekend

A national football tournament featuring 6th-8th graders from Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Manitoba will be played this weekend at the Wescott Sports Complex in Austin.

The Hall of Fame All-Star Canton Classic football tournament will get underway under the dome at Art Hass Stadium Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. as 6th grade Minnesota will take on South Dakota, followed by 7th grade Nebraska versus South Dakota at 11:00 a.m.  8th grade Minnesota will meet South Dakota at 1:00 p.m., and at 3:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon 6th grade Minnesota will meet Manitoba.  The action Saturday will finish with 7th grade  Manitoba versus Nebraska at 7:00 p.m.

On Sunday, 7th grade South Dakota will start the action against Manitoba at 9:00 a.m., follwedby 7th grade Nebraska vs. 8th grade South Dakota at 11:00 a.m.  6th grade South Dakota meets Manitoba at 1:00 p.m., and the tournament wraps up with 7th grade South Dakota taking on 8th grade Minnesota at 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
