Walmarts in southeastern Minnesota to start administering COVID-19 vaccine

Walmart has joined other pharmacies by offering COVID-19 vaccines at local locations around southeastern Minnesota.

Vaccine appointments will be available starting February 12th, and vaccines at retail pharmacies in Minnesota are currently limited to those 65 and older, as directed by state officials.

More than 1,000 locations across 22 states are receiving federal vaccine allocations this week.  Appointments can be made at Walmart locations in six different southeast Minnesota cities, including Austin, Albert Lea, Owatonna, Rochester, Waseca and Winona.
