United Way of Mower County raising funds for 2019-2020 capital campaign

The United Way of Mower County is in the midst of its annual capital campaign, and Jacob Steiner, Marketing and Resource Development Coordinator for the Mower County office told John Wright on “Wright Here, Right Now” on KAUS that fundraising efforts have been going very well so far this year…

In their 2018 capital campaign, the United Way of Mower County raised $1,260,000 with 26 partnering agencies, and 55 programs were funded locally with community support.  The funds were raised with the help of 135 residential gifts, 26 business donations and 21 workplace campaigns.
