The Minnesota Department of Transportation stated in a news release this week that motorists on U.S. Highway 63 should be prepared to stop just south of the Interstate 90 interchange at Schumann Drive in Stewartville beginning Friday, June 19 when a temporary traffic signal is activated.  KAUS News spoke with Mike Dougherty, Public Engagement and Communications Director with MnDOT District 6 in Rochester who stated that the installation of the traffic signal will kick a two-year project involving Highway 63, Interstate 90 and Highway 30 into high gear…

Dougherty went on to state that the project will put in place multiple safety improvements for motorists traveling in the area…
