Two suspects involved in Mower County burglaries in December 2020 sentenced in Mower County District Court

Two suspects who recently pleaded guilty for their roles in a string of armed robberies in Austin, Adams and Lyle in December of 2020 have been sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court.

19-year old Toby James Gogolewski of Lyle pleaded guilty to three felony counts of first-degree aggravated robbery and a felony charge for aiding and abetting first-degree aggravated robbery after taking part in robberies at the Apollo III gas station on West Oakland Avenue in Austin on December 6th, also at Dollar General in Austin on December 8th, at Corky’s Corner Convenience Store in Adams on December 9th, and at Freeborn County Co-Op in Lyle on December 11th.  He was convicted and sentenced Thursday to 75 months in prison, with credit for 194 days already served.  Gogolewski must also pay just over $4,600 in restitution.  19-year old Patrick Harris Alston of Austin previously pleaded guilty to a felony charge of aiding and abetting first-degree aggravated robbery for taking part in the robbery at Dollar General in Austin and was convicted and sentenced Thursday to 42 months in prison.  

Two other suspects involved in the armed robberies, 19-year old Nathaniel Gerome Davenport of Austin has entered a guilty plea to felony charges of first-degree aggravated robbery and aiding and abetting first-degree aggravated robbery for his role in the robberies at Corky’s Corner Convenience Store in Adams and at Freeborn County Co-op in Lyle.   20-year old Ladevin Martaz Hardin of Austin recently pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree aggravated robbery for taking part in the robberies at Dollar General and Corky’s.  

Both Hardin and Davenport are scheduled to be sentenced in Mower County District Court on September 9th.
