Two individuals each facing felony 1st degree drug possession charges in Mower County District Court

Two individuals from Preston who were arrested for alleged possession of methamphetamine after a traffic stop on Highway 16 in Grand Meadow on October 19th have each been charged with two felonies in Mower County District Court.

Engen Strain

42-year old Peter Jay Engen and 42-year old Elizabeth Sue Strain were charged Wednesday with felonies for 1st degree drugs, sale of 17 grams or more of cocaine or methamphetamine and for 1st degree drugs, possession of 50 grams or more of cocaine or methamphetamine.  

Both are scheduled to make their next appearances in Mower County District Court on October 29th.
