Three people injured in two-vehicle accident on I-90 in Olmsted County Monday morning

Three people, including two under the age of 10 were hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident on eastbound Interstate 90 near Dover in Olmsted County Monday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2013 Kenworth semi tractor being driven by 28-year old Daniel Jordan Willit of Taopi and a 2006 Chevy Uplander being driven by 51-year old Kelly Sara Beffa of LaCrosse, Wisconsin were both eastbound on I-90 at approximately 7:18 a.m. Monday morning when the two vehicles collided near mile marker 228.

Willit and Beffa were both uninjured, but 8-year old Cecilla Elena Jacuinde and 10-year old Mave Rhiannon Jacuinde, both of LaCrosse, Wisconsin and 40-year old Crawford Johnson David of Oregon, Wisconsin, who were all passengers in Beffa’s vehicle all suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Mayo Clinic/St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment.

The State Patrol reported that all of the parties involved in the accident were wearing their seatbelts, and the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene.
