Three people injured in two-vehicle accident on Highway 68 in Blue Earth County Tuesday morning

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 68 in Blue Earth County Tuesday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2011 Dodge Caravan being driven by 28-year old Christopher Owot Isaya of Mankato, and a 2023 Chevy Silverado pickup being driven by 64-year old William Leonard Howe of Albert Lea were both westbound on Highway 68 at approximately 9:51 a.m. Tuesday morning when the two vehicles collided near 498th Lane in Cambria Township.
Howe, Isaya and a passenger in Isaya’s vehicle, 52-year old Wendy Lee Windsor of North Mankato all sustained non-life threatening injuries in the accident, and Windsor was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato, while Howe and Isaya were not transported. The State Patrol indicated that all parties involved in the accident were wearing their seatbelts, and the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office, plus the Courtland Fire Department both assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene Tuesday morning.
