Three additional COVID-19 cases recorded in Mower County Monday for cumulative total of 4,758
Mower County logged 4,624 confirmed and 134 probable COVID-19 cases Monday for a cumulative total of 4,758 since the onset of the pandemic, up three from Sunday, according to statistics released Monday by the Minnesota Department of Health. Health officials stated that 43,078 healthcare workers in the state have now tested positive for the virus, and over 598,500 people have been reported as no longer needing isolation.
Olmsted County recorded 13,474 cumulative COVID-19 cases Monday, a rise of three from Sunday, Steele County reported 4,002 cumulative cases Monday, which was unchanged for a third straight day and Freeborn County confirmed 3,497 cumulative COVID-19 cases Monday, up two from Sunday. Dodge County now has 1,885 cumulative cases, up three from Sunday and Fillmore County recorded 1,586 cumulative COVID-19 cases Monday, which was unchanged for a third straight day.
The Minnesota Department of Health reported 263 positive COVID-19 tests in the state Monday for a cumulative total of 607,784, and they added that three additional COVID-19 related deaths were reported in the state from Sunday to Monday for a cumulative total of 7,638 since the onset of the pandemic. A total of 32,956 COVID-19 patients in Minnesota have required hospitalization since the pandemic started, and 6,669 of those patients have required treatment in intensive care units, which was up one from Sunday.
