Three additional COVID-19 cases recorded in Mower County by MDH Monday for cumulative total of 4,589

Mower County logged 4,466 confirmed and 123 probable COVID-19 cases Monday for a cumulative total of 4,589 since the onset of the pandemic, up three from Sunday, according to statistics released Monday by the Minnesota Department of Health.  Health officials stated that 41,544 healthcare workers in the state have now tested positive for the virus, and just over 559,000 people have been reported as no longer needing isolation.

Olmsted County confirmed 13,077 cumulative cases Monday, up ten from Sunday, Steele County recorded 3,779 cumulative cases Monday, up one from Sunday and Freeborn County reported 3,387 cumulative COVID-19 cases Monday, up six from Sunday.  Dodge County now has 1,804 cumulative cases, up four from Sunday and Fillmore County reported 1,536 cumulative COVID-19 cases Monday, up one from Sunday.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported 1,105 positive COVID-19 tests in the state Monday for a cumulative total  of 580,340, and they added that three additional COVID-19 related deaths were recorded in Minnesota from Sunday to Monday for a cumulative total of 7,163 since the onset of the pandemic.  A total of 30,370 COVID-19 patients in Minnesota have required hospitalization since the start of the pandemic and 6,183 of those patients have required treatment in intensive care units.
