Rochester man sentenced to jail time, supervised probation on two felony criminal sexual conduct charges in Mower County District Court

A Rochester man who pleaded guilty to two felony criminal sexual conduct charges in Mower County District Court after having sexual contact with two victims under the age of 13 in 2014 has been sentenced to jail time, supervised probation, fines and fees, plus community work service.

37-year old Daryl Robert Lavan was convicted and sentenced Tuesday to 90 days in jail, 15 years of supervised probation, just over $1,000 in fines and fees and 100 hours of community work service for two felony charges of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, victim under 13, actor more than 36 months older.  A 36-month prison sentence was stayed for 15 years if Lavan complies with the 21 different conditions of his probation ,and he was given credit for 11 days already served.  

Lavan first pleaded guilty to the two charges on April 8th, and Judge Christa Daily determined that Lavan will be allowed to serve the two sentences concurrently.
