Rochester man facing theft and DWI charges in Mower County District Court

A Rochester man allegedly found in a stolen vehicle by a Mower County Sheriff’s Deputy stuck in a ditch at Lake Louise State Park early on the morning of January 28th has been charged in Mower County District Court.  

38-year old Daniel Christopher Hill has been charged with a felony for theft, taking or driving a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, a gross misdemeanor for third-degree DWI, refuse to submit to a chemical test of blood or urine as required by search warrant, a misdemeanor for fourth-degree DWI, under the influence of a controlled substance and petty misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.  22-year old Ashley Kay Laudenbach of Rochester, who was a passenger in the vehicle was charged with felony fifth-degree drug possession and a petty misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hill’s next appearance in Mower County District Court is scheduled for February 10th.
