Revised Minnesota Gopher football schedule for 2020 released
The Big Ten announced Minnesota’s 2020 football schedule Wednesday morning. If games are contested, Minnesota is slated to play 10 conference games – five at home and five on the road – this season.
Minnesota is now slated to travel to East Lansing, Michigan to take on the Michigan St. Spartans on Saturday, September 5th, followed by two straight home games versus Michigan on September 12th and Iowa on September 19th. The Gophers are then slated to hit the road for two straight games, starting with Wisconsin on September 26th and at Nebraska on October 3rd.
Minnesota will then again host two straight home games versus Indiana on October 10th, and then after a bye week, the Gophers will host Purdue on October 24th. Minnesota will then finish out their 2020 season with two of their last three games on the road starting with a road game at Illinois on October 31st, then, after another bye week they will host Northwestern for their home finale on November 14th before closing out the regular season at Maryland on November 21st.
