The Pacelli cross country teams played host to a dual meet with Waterville-Elysian-Morristown at the Mower County Fairgrounds Thursday, and in the boys competiton, the Shamrocks were victorious by a score of 24-31.

Six of Pacelli’s runners finished in the top 10, with Jayden Lewis taking second with a time of 19:40, Grayson Bickler was fourth with a time of 21:16, Javier Cifuentes was fifth for the Shamrocks with a final time of 22:03, Andrew Frederick was sixth with a time of 23:04, Blake Klingfus was eighth for Pacelli with a time of 23:25 and Jack Klingfuswas 12th, as he ran a time of 25:34.

In the girl’s competition, Pacelli was the runaway winner by the score of 15-50, as the Shamrocks swept the top seven spots in the meet.  Kirsten Koopal was first for Pacelli with a time of 21:36, just edging out teammate Lexi Lewis, who was second with a time of 21:42.  Morgan Klankowski was third for the Shamrocks with a time of 25:01, Lilly Wiese was fourth with a time of 25:05, Ammy Vlasek was fifth at 26:20, Kendahl Lewis took sixth for Pacelli with a time of 26:34 and Abby Christopherson was seventh with a final time of 26:34.5.
