Overby Orthodontics Prep Athletes of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s Overby Orthodontics Prep Athletes of the Week, Ethan Slaathaug of the Hayfield Vikings boys’ basketball team and Kaden Thomas of the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms boys’ basketball team!

Slaathaug, a junior, scored 28 points in a win Thursday night over Mabel/Canton, but it was points five and six that pushed him to 1,000 for his career.  On the same night, Thomas, a senior scored 10 points in a win on the road against United South Central to go over 1,000 for his career.  Thomas became the second Blossom to travel over the 1,000 point plateau this season as Gabe Hagen, a past Athlete of the Week went past the mark earlier this season.
