Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Hunter VaDeer of the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics baseball team!

VaDeer, a sophomore pitcher and outfielder for the Athletics who played extensively as a freshman last season played a huge role in a recent season-opening win at Southeast Conference foe Houston, as the right-hander fanned 18 Hurricane hitters and gave up only one hit on the mound, and he was also 2 for 4 at the plate with a home run, an RBI and two runs scored in a 4-0 Lyle/Pacelli win.
