Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Aliani Thiravong of the Austin Packers girls’ golf team!

Thiravong, a 7th grader, has been one of top scorers for the Packers this entire season, as she fired the low round of 86 Austin at a Big 9 Conference triangular in Mankato Monday with the East Cougars and Northfield, and she carded the low round for the Packers in a recent home meet with Albert Lea at the Austin Country Club with a 96. The Packers will continue to look to Thiravong to lead the way down the stretch, as Austin will host a Big 9 quadrangular with Rochester Century, Rochester John Marshall and Faribault on Monday, May 16th, and they will then travel to Mankato for a seven-team invitational on Saturday, May 21st before heading back to Mankato for the Big 9 Conference meet on Thursday, May 26th.
