Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Aidan Martinez of the Austin Packers boys’ soccer team!

Martinez, a freshman midfielder for the Packers played an integral role in a pair of Austin wins this week in the Section 1AA tournament, as he tallied in the fourth minute in the No. 4 seeded Packers’ quarterfinal matchup with No. 5 seed Kasson/Mantorville in Austin Tuesday night to help the Packers to a 2-0 win, and his header off of a free kick late in the 75th minute Thursday evening in Winona against the top-seeded Winhawks lifted the Packers to a 1-0 win and a date with Byron in the Section 1AA final next Tuesday evening in Albert Lea.
