Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Buay Koak of the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys’ basketball team!

Koak, a sophomore guard for the Athletics achieved a milestone early in his varsity career Wednesday evening in the second round of the Section 1A boys’ basketball tournament as he tallied 24 points to go over 1,000 for his career in a 107-39 Lyle/Pacelli win over United Christian Academy.  Buay is averaging 20 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season in helping to lead the Athletics to a No. 2 seed in the tournament, and a date with No. 7 seed Randolph in the quarterfinals this evening in Lyle.
