Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Winston Walkup of the Austin Packers boys’ swimming and diving team!
In a 90-89 win over Big 9 Conference foe Winona Thursday evening at Bud Higgins Pool, Walkup, a sophomore, swam the first leg for the Packers in the 200 medley relay and helped his team of senior Logan Kelly, sophomore Joseph Hilkin and senior Riley Haugen take first place with a time of 1:47.71. Walkup took first for Austin in the 200 yard individual medley with a final time of 2:15.25, and he also earned a first-place finish for Austin in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 57.73. Winston was also a part of the 400 freestyle relay team along with Tate Miller, Adam Pike and Logan Kelly that took second with a time of 3:49.34.
