One additional COVID-19 case recorded in Mower County Monday for cumulative total of 4,713

Mower County logged 4,582 confirmed and 131 probable COVID-19 cases Monday for a cumulative total of 4,713 since the onset of the pandemic, up one from Sunday, according to statistics released Monday by the Minnesota Department of Health.  Health officials stated that 42,913 healthcare workers in the state have now tested positive for the virus, and just over 596,800 people have now been reported as no longer needing isolation.

Olmsted County recorded 13,420 cumulative cases Monday, a rise of four from Sunday, Steele County reported 3,983 cumulative cases Monday, which was unchanged from Sunday, Freeborn County confirmed 3,474 cumulative COVID-19 cases Monday, which was also unchanged from Sunday, Dodge County now has 1,877 cumulative cases, unchanged from Sunday and Fillmore County recorded 1,576 cumulative COVID-19 cases for an eighth straight day Monday.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported 82 positive COVID-19 tests in the state Monday for a cumulative total of 605,218, and they added that five additional COVID-19 deaths were recorded in the state from Sunday to Monday for a cumulative total of 7,587 since the onset of the pandemic.  A total of 32,639 COVID-19 patients in the state have required hospitalization since the start of the pandemic, and 6,623 of those patients have required treatment in intensive care units.
