Number of coronavirus cases in Minnesota rises to nine

The Minnesota Department of Health has announced the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state has increased to nine.

According to the MDH website, the nine positives are cases in Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Olmsted, Ramsey and Stearns Counties.

The website also shows approximately 316 people have been tested in the state as of Thursday.

Officials have not released details on the new confirmed cases.
