No additional COVID-19 tests recorded in Mower County Monday to keep cumulative total at 4,637

Mower County logged 4,512 confirmed and 125 probable COVID-19 cases Monday for a cumulative total of 4,637 since the onset of the pandemic, which was unchanged from Sunday, according to statistics released Monday by the Minnesota Department of Health.  Health officials stated that 41,920 healthcare workers in the state have now tested positive for the virus, and just over 570,000 people have been reported as no longer needing isolation.

Olmsted County recorded 13,184 cumulative cases Monday, a rise of 20 from Sunday, Steele County reported 3,843 cumulative cases Monday, up four from Sunday and Freeborn County confirmed 3,411 cumulative COVID-19 cases Monday, also up four from Sunday.  Dodge County logged 1,834 cumulative cases Monday, up three from Sunday and Fillmore County recorded 1,555 cumulative COVID-19 cases Monday, up two from Sunday.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported 1,191 positive COVID-19 tests in the state Monday for a cumulative total of 588,952, and they added that no additional COVID-19 related deaths were recorded in the state from Sunday to Monday to keep the cumulative total at 7,231 since the onset of the pandemic.  A total of 30,942 COVID-19 patients in Minnesota have required hospitalization since the start of the pandemic, and 6,295 of those patients have required treatment in intensive care units.
