Mower County Public Works Department announces closings and other changes in procedure due to COVID-19 outbreak

Mower County Public Works, which includes the county’s Highway Department and Recycling and Hazardous waste facility announced Friday that the Public Works office is closed to the public.

They also announced the zoning permits and land use applications will be handled through the phone and email at [email protected], and feedlot payments should be paid by check through the mail or feedlot operators can phone in credit card information.

Feedlot registrations should be sent in via US mail or can be sent to [email protected].  It was also announced that the county’s Hazardous Waste Facility and Recycling Center  has been closed until further notice
