Mower County implements open burning ban

Mower County has implemented a ban on open burning effective as of today (Wednesday) due to conditions throughout the county and the dry fuel supply available. 

Mower County Sheriff Steve Sandvik stated in a news release that the fire situation in the county is explosive, and can result in extensive property damage.
