Mower County currently with 20 positive cases of COVID-19, or coronavirus

Health officials in Minnesota announced Thursday that Mower County now has 20 confirmed cases of COVID-19, or coronavirus, which was up from 18 reported on Wednesday.  KAUS News spoke with Pam Kellogg, Division Manager, Mower County Health and Human Services who gave details concerning the cases in the county during a teleconference from the Mower County Emergency Operations Center…

The Minnesota Department of Health reported that the state now has a total of 1,242 positive cases, compared to 1,154 on Wednesday.  Olmsted County currently has 114 positive cases, up from 108 on Wednesday, while Blue Earth County has 22 cases, up from 21 on Wednesday.  Freeborn and Winona Counties each have 20 cases, Goodhue County has 14 cases, Dodge County has 13, Fillmore County remains at 10 cases, Steele County has eight, Wabasha County still has six cases, Rice County has four cases, Waseca County still has three cases and Houston County still has one.

The Department of Health reported that there  are now 293 cases involving hospitalization in Minnesota, with 145 hospitalized as of Thursday and the number of patients being treated in intensive care dropped from 64 on Wednesday to 63 Thursday.  675 patients no longer need to be isolated, and the total approximate number of completed tests in Minnesota stands at 32,294 and counting.
