Mower County Board of Commissioners move to accept resignation of Administrator Trish Harren

The Mower County Board of Commissioners moved unanimously at their meeting Tuesday to accept the resignation of County Administrator Trish Harren, who will become the County Administrator in Kittson County in the northwest corner of Minnesota.  Harren, who has held the position since December of 2018, stated to KAUS News that a good job opportunity closer to family was the main factor in her decision…

Harren’s last day with Mower County will be August 4th.  The search for Harren’s replacement is underway, as applications for the position will be open for the next two weeks, and Harren will assist the Board in finding her replacement.  Interviews with potential candidates to fill the position will start in late July.
