Minnesota House Capital Investment Committee coming to Austin Tuesday, November 9th

The Minnesota House Capital Investment Committee will be traveling to Austin Tuesday, November 9th as part of their southeast Minnesota tour to view and receive presentations on projects for possible inclusion in the 2022 bonding bill.  KAUS News spoke with Austin City Administrator Craig Clark, who stated that the city will be seeking over $10 million in bonding dollars for its wastewater treatment facility renovation and expansion project…

Clark went on to state that, as in the last session, the state legislature will be looking to give priority for bond funding for projects such as the one being undertaken by the city of Austin….

The House Capital Investment Committee has made previous stops in northeastern, northwestern, west-central and southwestern Minnesota, plus also in the Twin Cities metro area.  The Senate’s Capital Investment Committee is expected to travel to southeastern Minnesota November 16th through the 18th.
