Minnesota deer hunters urged to make a plan for processing their deer

Minnesota deer hunters enjoy the annual rituals of tree stands and deer camp. They also enjoy venison on the table.

This year, hunters are urged to make a plan for processing that deer after it’s harvested.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is urging hunters to check with their local meat processors to make sure they’re accepting deer… according to the D-N-R’s Todd Froberg..
