Minneapolis woman sentenced to supervised probation on felony drug sale charge in Mower County District Court

A Minneapolis woman who sold a total of 10.516 grams of methamphetamine to an informant with the Austin Police Department on multiple occasions from January to April of 2020 has been sentenced to supervised probation in Mower County District Court.

22-year old Sadie Catherine Washington was convicted and sentenced Thursday to five years of supervised probation for a felony charge of 3rd degree drugs, sale of a narcotic drug.  Washington must follow 19 different conditions while on probation, and Judge Kevin Siefken granted Washington a stay of imposition in the case where the defendant pleads guilty to a felony-level offense.  If he or she complies with the terms of their probation, the conviction will be deemed a misdemeanor.

Washington pleaded guilty to the charge on July 11th, 2022, and as part of a plea agreement in the case, three additional felony counts of 3rd degree drugs, sale of a narcotic drug, and a felony charge for 2nd degree drugs, sale of 10 grams or more of methamphetamine within a 90-day period against Washington were dismissed with her guilty plea.
