Marshall man injured in one-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 218 in Mower County Friday evening

A Marshall man was injured in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 218 in Mower County early Friday evening.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2021 Ford F-150 pickup being driven by 63-year old Donald Joseph Ginder of Marshall was southbound on Highway 218 at approximately 5:48 p.m. Friday evening when his vehicle left the roadway and went into the west ditch near 255th St. in Lansing Township.
Ginder sustained non-life threatening injuries in the accident, and he was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Austin for treatment. The State Patrol indicated that road conditions were wet at the time of the accident, and they added that Ginder was wearing his seatbelt.
The Mower County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Ambulance both assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene early Friday evening.
