Lyle/Pacelli boys’ basketball downs Grand Meadow 57-41 in SEC matchup in Lyle Tuesday evening
The Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys’ basketball team was looking stay unbeaten on the season at home in Lyle Tuesday night versus Southeast Conference rival Grand Meadow Tuesday night in the second game of a three-game homestand, and it was yet another big night for senior guard Buay Koak who registered 20 points, eight rebounds and an assist in a 57-41 win.
Jake Truckenmiller was also in double figures in scoring for LP Tuesday evening with 16 points, plus he added six rebounds and a steal, Mac Nelson chipped in 11 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals, Hunter Bauer added five points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal, David Christianson scored three points and Trey Anderson tallied two points, eight rebounds, five assists, which was a club best and two steals for the Athletics, who move to 5-0 overall on the season and 5-0 in the Southeast Conference.
LP will play their last game before Christmas Thursday night as they entertain Kenyon/Wanamingo in a non-conference tilt, with the varsity tip-off set for 7:15 p.m.
