Lyle/Pacelli boys’ basketball cruises past Kingsland Monday evening 92-44

The Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys’ basketball team, currently in a stretch of playing five of six games on their home floor played host to the Kingsland Knights in Lyle in Southeast Conference action Monday evening, and Buay Koak led four Athletics in double figures with 23 points as LP kept Kingsland winless on the season in a 92-44 win.

Besides Koak’s 23 points, Jed Nelson added 16 points, Zach Bollingberg chipped in 15 points, Cole Walter scored 11 points, Sam Nelsen added nine points, Jake Truckenmiller tallied seven points and Mac Nelson tallied five points as 10 Athletics registered at least a point in the rout.

The win for LP was their fifth in a row to raise their record to 6-1, and the Athletics are averaging 87 points per game during their current winning streak.  Lyle/Pacelli returns to action Saturday evening in Glenville versus Glenville/Emmons, with tip-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
