Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys basketball team rolls by Grand Meadow 92-24 Tuesday night

The Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys basketball team traveled to Grand Meadow to face the Superlarks in a Southeast Confernence West Division matchup Tuesday evening, and ten different Athletics overall were in the scoring column as LP jumped out to a 15-1 lead on their way to a 92-24 rout.

Lyle/Pacelli drained 11 3-pointers in the game and led 53-19 at the halftime break.  The Athletics also shot a blistering 54.3% in the victory, plus they outrebounded the Superlarks 41-23 and forced 23 turnovers.  The Athletics were led offensively by senior guard Jake Truckenmiller, who drained five 3-pointers on his way to 25 points, Buay Koak tallied 19 points, Mac Nelson and Hunter Bauer were also both in double figures in scoring with with 14 and 11 points, respectively, Trey Anderson and Landon Meyer each scored six points, Dylan Christianson tallied five points Tuesday night, and Chase Bauer, Jaden May and Othello Stone all chipped in two points apiece in the win.

The Athletics are now 19-3 overall on the season and 16-1 in the Southeast Conference, and Lyle/Pacelli is back at home Thursday night for a conference matchup with Glenville/Emmons, with the varsity tip-off scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
