Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys basketball bolts out to early lead in 94-62 win over Glenville/Emmons Tuesday night

The Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys basketball team was on the road to Glenville Tuesday evening for a Southeast Conference West Division matchup with the Glenville/Emmons Wolverines, and the Athletics had three players in double figures and bolted out of the gate to a 16-4 lead on their way to a 94-62 win.

LP never trailed in the game Tuesday evening and after leading 16-4 to start the game, the Athletics then went on a 16-5 run to push their lead to 21 at 32-11, and they led 53-26 at the half on their way to the 32 point win.  Lyle/Pacelli had two players go over 20 points in the game, with Jake Truckenmiller tallying 26 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals, Buay Koak scored 24 points for LP Tuesday night with six rebounds, one assist, one steal and a team-high five blocked shots to boot, Mac Nelson was also in double figures in scoring with 14 points, plus he added five rebounds, a team-high six assists and one steal, Landon Meyer chipped in nine points, two rebounds and four assists, Hunter Bauer tallied six points, six rebounds, one assist and two steals, Trey Anderson put up a stat line of five points, team-highs in rebounds with eight and steals with six, plus four assists, Dylan Christianson and Jaden May each added four points and Mitchell Johnson scored two points in the win Tuesday evening.

Lyle/Pacelli is now 9-2 overall on the season and 8-0 in the Southeast Conference, and the Athletics will face Section 1A foe Rushford/Peterson in their next game Friday night, with varsity tip-off in Lyle at 7:30 p.m. that evening.
