Lyle man wanted on three non-violent warrants turns himself into authorities

A Lyle man wanted out of Mower County has turned himself in.

40-year old Dana Plotts was booked into the Mower County Jail at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Authorities had been searching for Plotts since November 19th when they attempted to serve three non-violent warrants against him at his residence in Lyle which included a misdemeanor for non-payment of child support, a misdemeanor for contempt of court stemming from his child support case and a gross misdemeanor for driving after cancellation, inimical to public safety.  

No one was in the residence at the time of the search, and Plotts had been a fugitive from justice until Tuesday morning.
